A guy's take

Girl options
Jordan Wynter,Youthlink Writer

Hey all! Welcome back to A Guy's Take, where Youthlink helps girls understand why guys don't like to hold their hands in public, or why some men are so terrified of commitment, and much more. This week, 18-year-old Renee is dying to find out:

What qualities are men really looking for in women?

Jerome, 18:

Well, girls are very emotional, fragile, loving and caring. These are the qualities that attract males to the opposite sex. In addition to these, many girls are reasonable, in that you can sit and talk about your problems and they will listen and give good advice.

Norman, 17:

Some guys look for a pretty face with a nice body, while others look beyond the physical features for a girl with good personality. I specifically look for a girl with the complete package. I love a cute face with a captiva-ting body. I also look for honesty in a girl, and my woman must be faithful.

Tarik, 18:

First of all, she must be voluptuous and daring. I like those adventurous girls. I also look for girls with a sense of humour and intelligence to boot. My girl must be able to roll with the guys (laugh).

Kamal, 18:

I can't speak for all guys, but I would definitely like a girl who is beautiful and has a good sense of humour. She should not be overly compulsive and she must be honest. She must be someone I can talk to about almost anything and, to top it off, her body must be sexy. She must be 'gifted'.
